Sports Leaders Award Level 1

Over the past 3 days we have had a great group of Salford Youth Alliance volunteers take part in the Sports Leaders Level 1 award. The award allowed the volunteers to work in groups, pairs and on their own in delivering activities to other participants on the award. With a lot of hard work and with many volunteers pushing themselves out of their comfort zone, we are proud to say they all passed. Well done guys!!...

Successful Sports Leaders award

  Our volunteers did really well on their Sports Leaders award and passed with flying colours!! Designed with today's education landscape in mind, the course was delivered by the RIO Ferdinand Foundation for 3 days and all aspiring coaches learned the fundamentals of sports coaching and passed the fully accredited qualification. Volunteer completes youth leaders programme.

Sheldon, has been taking part in our Inspiring Youth Leaders programme. He has been participating in the programme for 5 months. For his project he decided he wanted to gain coaching experience in boxing. The sport has been a hobby of his for some time, but now he wants to develop his skills.
